Someone is always watching...

As parents we have a strong desire to see our kids move past us in life. We want them to achieve their dreams. In fact, for most of us it is so important that they achieve theirs, we would be willing to sacrifice ours.

As I've pondered this picture of my daughter and I over the last week something very profound hit me. My daughter will only chase her dreams to the extent she see's me chasing mine.

Kids can sniff out a phony from a mile away. If we continue to tell our children to dream, but fail to dream ourselves... what message are we sending? If we abandon our dreams at the first site of challenge what will our children do?

If you have children, let this be your motivation for pursing the things in your heart.

Our children will only chase their dreams to the extent they see us chasing ours.
